About Me

He was born in 1957 in Kadirli-Osmaniye. He graduated from HACETTEPE MEDICAL FACULTY in 1981. He completed his specialty education in the field of General Surgery at the KARADENIZ FACULTY of MEDICINE between 1982-1986 and worked there for three more years as a specialist.

In 1989, he was appointed as Assistant Professor to the Faculty of Medicine at SELCUK UNIVERSITY, became Associate Professor in 1991 and Professor in 1996. He also worked as the Head of Emergency Service and Research Laboratory in this hospital.

He served as the Secretary General of the University in 1995-96 at Selçuk University, and as Vice-Rector at the same university between 1996-99. He also served as a member of the Inter-University Board between 1996-2000.

In 2000, he was appointed to the training hospital of ISTANBUL BAKIRKOY SADI KONUK TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL as the transforming-founding Chief Physician and continued his duty as Chief Physician until 2003. He worked as the Chief of General Surgery Clinic at Bakirkoy Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital until 2010 and retired from here.

He continued his medical career as a host physician at Medikalpark Bahçelievler Private Hospital in 2010-11, then at the Private Practice in Bakirkoy, and also at the Azerbaijan Baku Center Clinical Hospital, also at Gence International Hospital in 2015-2016. has qualified.

prof. Dr. Ersan Aygun has many scientific articles in the field of General Surgery published in Turkey and abroad. Among the scientific organizations and associations he is a member of: Turkish Surgery Association, International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, National Association of Trauma and Emergency Surgery, National Endoscopic-Laparoscopic Surgery Association, Istanbul Surgical Society, Turkish Colon and Rectum Surgery Association, European Society for Trouma and There is Emergency Surgery and Turkish Obesity Surgery Association.

The main international trainings he attended are: Da Vinci robotic surgery training, France, 2009; Use of radiofrequency (RF) in liver cancer- Habib technique, London, 2009; Single hole gallbladder surgery, France, 2009.

His areas of interest and expertise are Gastric Cancer and ulcer, Bowel (colon and rectum) cancers, Breast Cancer, Liver and Pancreatic Cancers, Gastroocephalic reflux, Suprarenal gland tumors, Laparoscopic Surgery, Robotic Surgery, hernia (grija), hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids, paternal hemorrhoids) ), gallbladder stones and jaundice, cyst hydratic, ERCP, stomach and large intestine endoscopy.

Suan continues to work as a General Surgery Specialist at the Private Practice in Bakirkoy, Istanbul.
